The context

Cogent Skills is sector based, working with companies from across the science and technology industries embracing life sciences, industrial sciences and nuclear. 

They work nationally to ensure that the science and technology industries are future ready - providing training, assessment, consultancy, and apprenticeship and graduate services to ensure that the right skills and roles are in place to help society meet major challenges in the future.

What we did

We were commissioned to conduct a review of Cogent Skills’ marketing activity, identifying distinct target audiences, and developing a strategy to ensure clarity of offer across its various stakeholder groups, from individuals to industry leaders in science and technology.

  • Reviewed existing marketing materials

  • Mapped stakeholder groups and developed messaging for each

  • Identified key challenges and opportunities to engage different stakeholder groups

  • Delivered a report and a series of recommendations to amplify impact
