Really Good Things chosen by Power to Change to gather perceptions of community business

As a national organisation, Power to Change seeks to tackle some of society’s biggest challenges through community businesses. From pubs to libraries, shops to bakeries, and swimming pools to solar farms, community businesses are locally rooted, community-led and trade for community benefit to make life better for local people.

Following a competitive tender, we’ve been chosen – in partnership with Social Sense – to deliver an insights, research, and engagement project.

The project will see us undertake an extensive research and engagement project to understand the current awareness and perceptions of Power to Change, and of community business – engaging policymakers, infrastructure organisations, national and local government, funders, and community businesses in conversation regarding their current level of knowledge about what Power to Change exists to achieve.

The aim of the project is to provide robust metrics for benchmarking, to help Power to Change understand the influence they have today, and to measure perceptions and engagement against this benchmark in future years.

Our work will inform the future communications strategy of Power to Change and ensure that they have the maximum influence and impact on the community business sector.

Really Good Things is a unique consultancy. We’re here to amplify social impact, shift perspectives, and make good things happen. We achieve this through brilliant strategy, communications, engagement, research, evaluation, and fundraising.

We’ve spent the past 20 years empowering forward thinking organisations across the voluntary, cultural, public, and private sectors.
